As mentioned in todays Pacific Business News article:
Blue Startups, the venture accelerator program founded by Henk Rogers, has selected the first seven companies it will work with after deciding from among 110 applicants.
Rogers founded Blue Startups to help startups, particularly those with a focus on technology or Asia, to compete on a global scale. Rogers is also the founder of Blue Planet Software, the sole agent of Tetris.
“Our metric of success is really to have one or two breakaway, big-hit successes,” said Chenoa Farnsworth, managing director of Blue Startups. “The majority of the companies will not become the next Facebook. What we are trying to do is give them the best start in life that is possible. Really, the rest is up to them.”
